How to change the name of a Sympa list
First, you must login as an administrator. Then under Admin heading on the left side of the page, select "Rename List".
However: There is a bug in Sympa so that once you've renamed your list, you'll have to go in and change the list subject manually, otherwise the Subject line of all your new messages will have your old list name.
To change the subject header go to your list's Admin page and click on "Edit List Config". From that menu select "Sending/reception set-up." Scroll down the page till you see the box for "Subject Tagging (custom_subject)" and then change that to whatever you re-named your list.
Click update at the bottom of the page and your renamed list is good to go.
