Farming and The Environment is a small organization that has made a big impact by making smart use of simple but powerful technology tools. They've increased their website traffic 22-fold (!), built an effective email newsletter program, and used them in conjunction with a state-of-the-art database to launch a highly successful farmers market.

Winning In The Washington State legislature

Washington environmental groups, working together under the banner of "Priorities for a Healthy Washington" have had unprecedented success at passing great environmental legislation over the past few years, culminating in winning 3 out of 4 priority bills in 2006. ONE/Northwest helped the Washington environmental community do joint email and phonebank mobilization of grassroots activists at critical moments.
